PALA Aims

  • 1 Organize the people of Sound and Light Service Industry under one banner.
  • 2 PALA will create uniform guidelines for rendering sound and light services.
  • 3 Train and Educate the people behind the Sound and Light Service Industry.
  • 4 Obtain a Industry status to Sound and Light Service segment.
  • 5 PALA will ensure free and fair environment is provided so that people of Sound and Light Service segment may continue to do business with pride.
  • 6 PALA will provide various verticals for the people from Sound and Light Service segment to boost their income.
  • 7PALA will promote the sound and light service providing industry through conferences, seminars and other means act as sponsor for members who wish to take advantage of funding provided by the Government for participation in exhibitions or trade missions in domestic areas and overseas countries and to carry out all tasks relative to such applications liaise and work together with complementary industry organizations where there is a perceived mutual benefit to members.
  • 8 PALA will be a central representative body to put the views of members to Central and State Government, Central Government Departments and agencies, State Government Departments and agencies, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, Vidhan Parishad, Commissions, Group of Ministers, Central and State Ministries, Judicial Forums and other relevant organizations.
  • 9 PALA will be a petitioner in the matters before the Judicial Body for protection and benefits of the interest of association members.
  • 10 PALA will participate in the drafting of laws, guidelines, and offer assistance in the matters of law concerning the members of association.
  • 11PALA will set the safety standards and parameters for the sound and light service providers.
  • 12 PALA will set a uniform standard approach towards the customer needs.
  • 13 PALA will plan and execute "Training of Trainers" for Sector skill development of Sound and Light service providing Industry and related industries.
  • 14PALA will promote academies of excellence and assist the Appropriate Governmental Authority in strengthening the existing vocational education system for skill development in the Sector of Sound and Light service providing Industry and related industries and to collaborate in upgrading vocational training system in the Sector of Sound and Light service providing Industry and related industries, in line with requirements to achieve global standards in manpower productivity.
  • 15 PALA will identify the needs of skill development in the Sector of Sound and Light service providing Industry and related industries including taking steps to prepare catalogue of types of skills, range and depth of skills to facilitate choice to individuals. To develop a skill development plan for the Sector Sound and Light service providing Industry and related industries and maintain skill inventory. To determine skills/competency standards and qualifications in consonance with the Sector norms.
